Kansas TESOL

Greetings  KATESOL  members!

On September 30, the KATESOL board members had a productive meeting in Wichita.  We are planning next year's meetings and, hopefully, more KATESOL members will be able to attend.  We would like to invite all of our members to a KATESOL networking/social meeting during the TESOL conference in St. Louis.  We will be meeting on February 28, 2001.  If you plan to go to the TESOL conference, we hope you will join us, too.  If you are able to join us, please contact me so that we know how many people to plan  for space and food. Details of time and location will be forthcoming.

 Also, KATESOL is going to be part of the Bilingual/ESOL/Migrant Conference in Wichita, in June 2001.  This is the first time we have combined with these other organizations.  It should be fun!

At our conference last April, we had a drawing and gave away two free memberships to KATESOL.  Unfortunately, we only know the name of one of the winners.  If you were the winner of the other free membership, would you please contact Murle Mordy or Carol Thompson?  Their e-mail addresses and phone numbers are on the left side of this page.
